General Rules and Safety.

1. All Cars will be scored by transponder, driver must have a transponder pouch to secure the transponder on the top of the right rear axle tube.
2. All drivers must wear a race receiver device at all times when in the speedway, any driver not responding to commands for the race director after three attempts will be sent to the pits, a courtesy check is available for all drivers while they are in the pits between races, ask a speedway track staff employee to get tower to give a “check” over the head set if you are having trouble hearing, but it is your responsibility to make sure that your device is working.
3. All drivers must wear protective driving suits, racing gloves, flame retardant footwear, and a minimum of a “neck roll” helmet support collar. Hans type or other neck restraints are highly recommended.
4. All cars must have all lead pieces painted white, driveshaft must also be painted white.
5. Window nets are not required but highly recommended.
6. May run 3” or 2” wide racing harness, five point harness (seat belts) mandatory.
7. All cars must have a full containment style seat.
8. Bead locks permitted on any corner or all corners of the car. Highly recommended on both right side tires, a bead lock is mandatory for the right rear.

Race procedure and Starts and restarts. 

1. All heat race line ups will be determined by pill draw at the registration window.
2. All initial starts wether in heat races or feature events will begin with the pole sitter on the inside of the front row, starting order will always follow the grid as indicated on the line up boards.
3. Feature line ups will be determined by the finishing order of the heat races(heat one winner pole, heat two winner outside pole, etc.) the initial start of the feature will be lined up as indicated on the starting grid sheet on the pit line up board.
4. The field will given two shots at an initial start, if the class can’t start the race properly the third attempt at starting the race will put the field single file for the initial start.
5. All restarts will be true double file, with the leader selecting either inside or outside, and race scoring lining the field up according to the leaders decision to go to the inside or the outside. Fair warning!!! if you don’t answer the command to get in your starting spot after two requests to do so, you will be stopped and sent to the pits prior to the restart.
6. Any car that drives off the designated racing surface(through the infield of the exit lane at the top of the back stretch etc) and gains positions will be scored last at the next flag during the race.
7. If a car is charged with bringing out the caution THREE TIMES, that driver will be black fagged and sent to the pits for the night.
8. If a car jumps the start or breaks the double file formation before leaving the start box, on any start(initial or restart.) that car will be docked three positions at the next flag, that stops racing speed(yellow, or checked).
9. If one or more cars bring out the yellow by colliding, spinning or stopping, without perceived malicious intent, all cars involved in the bring out the yellow will be sent to the rear of the lead lap.
10. If anyone is caught intentionally spinning out another competitor, the driver who initiates contact will be black flagged, if a driver is deemed to be too aggressive or tearing up other competitors equipment or deemed a danger to his/her fellow competitors that driver will be black flagged.
11. A driver may be black flagged for a mechanical issue that is dangerous to competitors,him/herself or the integrity of the race itself.

Chassis and suspension 

1. Open to any steel full tube dirt Late Model chassis, age brand or otherwise.
2. Absolutely no stock clip cars allowed.
3. Minimum wheelbase of 103 inches.
4. No spring loaded suspension tubes or four link rods.
5. No cantilever style rear suspension systems permitted
6. The car is allowed a total of 5(five) steel body, monotube or twin tube non adjustable shock absorbers with coil over kits or Aluminum threaded body shocks that are non adjustable through gas pressure or knobs. Left front, right front, left rear (behind the birdcage) right rear and fifth coil.
7. No gas pressure adjustable type shocks, no double adjustable knob type shocks, no Schrader valves, no bulb type shocks.
8. No bump stops, internal or external
9. No stacked springs, dual rate springs, or spring rubbers.
10. The car must have a solid chain to limit hike on the left rear, no spring or biscuit or pull type limiters. No nylon straps, the limiting device cannot stretch, or cushion the suspension at full draw. Limiter must be mounted as close to the left side bell as possible, and it must be clamped to the axle tube.
11.  All shocks must compresses completely by hand or spring smasher. No shock can read over 175 pounds when compressed on spring smasher as it is moving. No settle time for force to go down
12. Shock buy out rule, $750, does not include springs and coil over kits. Note: any driver finishing in the top three may buy out the shocks of another competitor in the top three, within five minutes of the conclusion of the race. Any driver that doesn’t comply with the buy out rule will forfeit their position and submit his shocks to series officials for inspection. If a driver fails to comply with series officials, he will serve a 30 day suspension from competition.

Droop Rule

       1. The travel limiting chain must attach on the left rear axle tube between the birdcage and the edge of the left rear bell of the axle housing, and to the left rear frame directly above the chain mount on the rear axle. Travel limiting chains must be installed so that when taunt they are as close to vertical as possible. No rubber, or spring loaded limiting devices are allowed, solid chain only .
B.) The travel limiting chain must be installed so that when the car is jacked up from the rear the chain assembly is tight (no slack). The travel limiting chain is subject to inspection at any time during the event at the discretion of the Officials, including but not limited to, pre race, heat races, and the Feature. Cars will be jacked up on the under-slung frame rail between the center of the rear axle and the Panhard bar mount. The left rear under-slung rail must be located between the left rear birdcage and the edge of the left rear axle housing bell. If a chassis is not of the under-slung design, then the car will be jacked up on the left rear frame rail closest to the Panhard bar mount. Cars will be jacked up until a .040”-inch shim will slide between the left rear tire and the ground. The right rear tire must also be off the ground. Once the car is jacked up as described a vertical measurement will be taken from the ground to top trailing edge of the rear deck bar, 6”-inches inboard of the left rear quarter panel outer edge. The measurement must not exceed 49”-inches. Failing to meet this rule will result in disqualification

Engine Rules

1. No Crate Engines are permitted to compete. The rule book allows any production Chevrolet 350 cubic inch block to compete, no aftermarket blocks, maximum of .060 over cylinder bore.  Engine Claim rule will be $2500, buyer must finish in the top 3 and notify the tech inspector of his intent within 5 minutes of the completion of the race. Engine will be bought without Carb, carb spacer, water pump, distributor, pulleys, and fuel/power steering pump or headers. Any driver who does not sell his engine when a claim has been placed on it will forfeit his position, payout and points for the night, and will be suspended from competition for 30 days. 1 engine claim per team per season.

2.Holley 4412 Carburetors only, as comes from Holley, no modifications except choke butterfly and shaft may be removed. Choke horn must remain unmodified. Maximum 1” aluminum spacer/adapter with 1 gasket per side not to exceed .065”in thickness.
3. Unmodified cast iron or aluminum 2 or 4 barrel intake manifolds are permitted. can be aftermarket (edelbrock performer,example). Must be factory low-rise. No airgap, intakes. No porting, polishing or milling allowed on any intake. Maximum of 1 inch spacer allowed, including 4bbl to 2bbl adapter on 4bbl intakes.
4. Headers allowed, Basic Steel dirt Late Model headers only, No tri-y, stainless or step headers will be allowed. Mufflers are not mandatory but are recommended.
5. No phenolic/wooden carburetor spacers.

Cylinder Heads
1. Stock production cast iron heads only and must be for 350 engine onl, no aluminum heads. No angle plug heads. Any questionable heads must be approved by chief inspector prior to racing. CH-350i Cylinder Head with 1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust valves. Vortec Heads are permitted. No aftermarket (iron eagle, etc) heads will be permitted.
2. Maximum compression 175 lbs with exhaust valve disabled, all plugs removed, and carburetor in full open position with a battery charger if needed. Time limit may be enforced by chief tech inspector.
3. No flow work on heads, no port matching, no angle milling.
4. Stock diameter (1.25 in) valve springs. No beehive springs. No over sized valves, max size is GM 1.94 intake 1.50 exhaust , three angle valve jobs not permitted. No angle milling allowed.
5. Stock rockers, stock ratio only GM 1.5  6. Screw in studs and guide plates ok. No stud girdle .Poly locks ok.
Block
1. Block may be bored max .060 over maximum 362 cid.
2. Stock production rods only. 5.7 only must have factory markings. Must be stock length for engine being used. Nut and bolt type.
3. No dome or pop up pistons. Aftermarket dish , flattop 2 or 4 valve relief pistons ok.
4. OEM crankshaft or OEM replacement cast or steel crankshafts only. Scat #9-10442, Scat #9-10526, Eagle #103523480, Stock stroke. No lightening, no knife edge, no polishing.

5. Aftermarket oil pan ok.
6. Aftermarket hydraulic camshafts
allowed, Hydraulic lifters only, Maximum lift .420 lift camshaft.
Cast crank 47 lbs. minimum and steel crank 50 lbs. minimum.
7. Firing order must remain stock and unaltered, No 4-7 swaps
8. Aftermarket aluminum radiator ok.
9. After market valve covers ok.
10. Aftermarket power steering pump and aluminum pulleys ok. Power steering must be mounted to the front of the engine, no rear mount pumps, fuel or power steering.
11. Aluminum water pump ok, must have a working fan blade, no electric water pumps, fans etc.
12. Fuel pump must be mounted to the block and cam driven, aftermarket fuel pumps ok.

Tires and Wheels
1. Hoosier Crate Racin USA D55 or HTS Spec 1600 on the right rear, mandatory. Hoosier Crate Racin USA D21 or HTS Spec 1350 permitted on the Left Front, right front, left rear corners only.
2. Tires will be stamped before competition, cars must remain on those tires for the heat race and the feature, with exception of a flat or destroyed racing tire.
3. Grooving and siping allowed, this also allows drivers to purchase pull off tires from 602/604 teams.
4. Bead locks mandatory on right rear, recommended on right front.
5. Wheel spacers ok.
6. No softening of the tires by use of chemicals will be permitted. Any team may protest a tire for $150. In the case of a protest, the driver protesting must notify series tech inspector of his decision within five minutes of the completion of the feature race. Protesting team must also be willing to provide a sample for testing as well, the protesting team and the protested team’s payout will be held until test results come back. All teams must be willing to provide samples for testing if asked, at any given time. Failure to allow a sample to be taken will be met with 30 day competition suspension. Any driver failing a tire test will not only be disqualified from the feature in question but will forfeit all points accumulated to that point for the season, 2nd failure of a tire test will result in a 60 day suspension from competition. 3rd failure in a calendar year will result in 1 year’s suspension from competition.
7. No carbon fiber wheels, aluminum or steel only. 

Fuel. 

1. Pump gas only, strictly enforced. 93 maximum octane.
2. No cold boxes or fuel chilling devices allowed on the car.
3. No E85 race type fuels, or racing fuels. 

Transmissions.
    1. Turbo 350, 2 speed power glide are permitted, cars can weigh 2300 lbs with an automatic transmission.
     2. Brinn or Bert transmission or 3 Speed Saginaw also permitted, must have working low speed forward, reverse and high gear at a minimum. Cars using any of these three options must weigh 2350 pounds minimum. 

Body rules. Will use current 2021 Crate Racin USA body rules.

Closing statements.

Any and all questions concerning this rule book and anything not covered herein are up to discretion of Series officials as to how they will be answered or handled. 

Any part regarding the drive line, limiting chain, or suspension can be confiscated at any time by series officials. Failure to surrender part for inspection will result in immediate disqualification and possible suspension from the series.

In short, if it doesn’t say you can, you can’t.

To reiterate, this class does not intend to replace our current 602-604 late model classes, also I have a list of jegs engines built to these specs starting at 1800(long block) to 2400(complete less carb and fuel pump) dollars for those that are interested in purchasing an engine instead of building one. 

I also have part numbers and links to aftermarket rebuild kits for a 30 over three fifty that costs $900. Pistons, rods, rings, cam shaft and lifters and all the gaskets. Let me know if you need any help!

  TCS is a unsanctioned track but will be going by UMP rules with the exception of:  You can run Hoosier G60's or American Racer KK704 tires.  No grooving or siping rear tires.  You may groove or sipe front tires only.

Pure Stock Rules 2020

Bodies & Frames
1. 1969 or newer.
2. 4 point cage minimum with 3 door bars on each side – May run Full Cage. All welds and structural integrity must be satisfactory of chief technical inspector.
3. All glass must be removed.
4. All body parts must remain stock except rear bumper may be replaced by 2×2, 2×3, or round tube but must be extended no further than 5″ from frame rails. No pointed or sharp edges of any kind. No solid stock.
5. Frame must remain complete and unaltered.
6. May skin car with steel sheet metal. May have aluminum sides but must maintain a steel hood, roof, and trunk.
Must contain factory body lines for car being run. IT MUST APPEAR STOCK! MUST APPEAR STOCK! MUST APPEAR STOCK! MUST APPEAR STOCK! MUST APPEAR STOCK! Hood and trunk must be within OEM width.
7. Minimum roof height is 53″.
8. Maximum distance from firewall to back of seat 59″.
9. Monte Carlo nosepiece only, 78-86.

Hard compound is allowed.

Read End
1. Locked, limited slip, or shimmed ok.
2. Rear-end must be for make and model of car being used.
3. Aftermarket axles are recommended.

Suspension
1. No modifications allowed. Stock rubber bushings required, no mono-balls.
2. Stock diameter springs only , may change rate, no screw type adjusters.
2A. Stock mount steel body Racing Shocks will be allowed starting in 2020(Afco K series Stock mount, Pro Stock Shock series) no take a part shocks allowed.
Rebuildable and adjustable type shocks will not be permitted.
3. No adjustable spring spacers allowed, must be solid.
4. Stock Sway Bar Allowed, must function as a stock sway bar.
5. Solid spring spacers ok, no adjustable screw type adjusters allowed.
6. Steel aftermarket upper “A” frame allowed. Non adjustable. Stock length. Stock type ball joint of stock length. No screw in ball joints. Right front uppers must be 8”, left must be 8 1/2”.
7. Steering Quickeners allowed, may mount under dash or use Sweet metric replacement steering box.
8. Must have WORKING FOUR WHEEL brakes.
9. Four-wheel disc brakes OK. No Aluminum brake parts. No Scalloped rotors.
10. Single brake master cylinder only. No brake adjustments of any kind. No valves of any kind. No regulating of brake pressure of any kind (other than the drivers foot). Brake lines must be routed in a manner in which the complete length of line may be inspected by track officials.
11. Three-piece spindle ok- IMCA/Speedway STAMPED. No short arm
12. No suspension binding of any kind via chains, cables, etc. Suspension must be able to move freely.
13. No internal or external bump stops on shocks.
14. May change rate of leaf springs. Must mount in stock location. Mono leaf not allowed.
15. No sliders on leaf spring cars. Spacing Blocks allowed but cannot be wedge or adjustable.
16. Front frame must match rear.
***SHOCK Confiscation *** effective 2019
1. Any Shock found in violation of the pure Stock rule book my be confiscated with out question by the technical inspector at any time.

Keep them legal and keep them cheap.
We will confiscate them and NO CASH REPAYMENT TO THE COMPETITOR WILL BE MADE.

FUEL CELLS-
1. Fuel cell recommended, must be mounted in the center of the car.
2. Fuel lines must be routed so they cannot be ripped loose from racing action. If ran through interior of car, they must be in conduit or other protective metal casing. They must be insulated in protective casing from fuel cell to fuel pump so that the fuel line may not be damaged in competition.
3. Fuel cell must be mounted in can with two 2″ straps top and bottom. Must have tip over valve.
4. Must have a “loop” of steel Tubing directly behind the fuel cell with bars connecting the protection loop to the main cage, this will be mandatory.

Engine
1. No aluminum engine parts.
2. Unmodified Holley part #4412 only. No modifications except choke butterfly and shaft may be removed. Choke horn must remain unmodified. Maximum 1” aluminum spacer/adapter with 1 gasket per side not to exceed .065”in thickness.
3. Unmodified cast iron 2 or 4 barrel intake manifold must be factory OEM stock. Must be factory low-rise OEM stock. No bowtie, aluminum, airgap, or marine intakes. No GM 14098242 or GM 14096242 intakes. No porting, polishing or milling allowed on any intake.
4. Headers allowed, Basic Street Stock type headers will be allowed,1-5/8 inch main pipe, 3-inch collector (Schoenfeild p/n 910-13185 for example) part number SUM-G9005 or Flotech 11108FLT still allowed must have 24 inch pipe extension. No center dump manifolds. tri-y, stainless or step headers will be allowed. Mufflers are not mandatory, exhaust pipe extension past driver will not be mandatory on Schoenfeild part# 910-13185 header.
5. No phenolic/wooden carburetor spacers.

Cylinder Heads
1. Stock production heads only and must be for 350 engine only. No closed chamber heads, no aluminum heads. No Vortec heads. No angle plug heads. The following heads are not allowed (last 3 casting#s) 040, 041, 186, 291, 292, 461, 462, and 492. Any questionable heads must be approved by chief inspector prior to racing. #EQ CH-350i Cylinder Head with 1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust valves.
2. Maximum compression 175 lbs with exhaust valve disabled, all plugs removed, and carburetor in full open position with a battery charger if needed. Time limit may be enforced by chief tech inspector.

Block
1. Block may be bored max .060”over maximum 360 cid.
2. Production type rods only. 5.7 only must have factory markings. Must be stock length for engine being used. Nut and bolt type.
3. No dome or pop up pistons. Aftermarket dish , flattop 2 or 4 valve relief pistons ok.
4. OEM crankshaft or OEM replacement cast or steel crankshafts only. Scat #9-10442, Scat #9-10526, Eagle #103523480, Stock stroke. No lighting, no knife edge, no polishing.

5. Aftermarket oil pan ok.
6. Aftermarket hydraulic camshaft allowed. Maximum lift .284”measured at the cam. Cast crank 47 lbs. minimum and steel crank 50 lbs. minimum.
7. Firing order must remain stock and unaltered, No 4-7 swaps
8. Aftermarket aluminum radiator ok.
9. Any water bottles or other cooling devices must be securely mounted on right side of car and forward of the rear- end.
10. Aftermarket power steering pump and aluminum pulleys ok.
11. Aluminum water pump ok.

Transmission

Automatic Transmissions only.
Turbo 350, 200 Metric, 400 Turbo etc.
No 2 Speed powerglides, or valve body direct drive.

Safety
1. All cars must have 5-point approved safety belts mounted by 3/8 grade 8′bolts. 2” minimum strap width and must be manufactured within 3 years of event.
2. Approved helmet and goggles or shield. Helmet must be SNELL approved.
3. Driver’s fire suit required. Must be complete!
4. Working 2-1/2 lb. minimum fire bottle required properly mounted within reach of driver while securely seated. May not be hose clamped, taped, zip tied, etc.
5. Use a properly installed racing seat and fuel cell for safety purposes. These items will be checked for proper installation prior to going on the track by Tech personnel.
6. Drivers neck brace is mandatory.
7. Roll bar padding is mandatory on all bars within reach of any part of the drivers body while driver is properly seated in the car.
8. Drivers window net manufactured within past 5 years is mandatory.
9. Ribbon type window net only. No sprint car type or mesh.
10. Must have protective bars in windshield area forward of driver.
11. Absolutely no weight or ballast added to the car of any kind. No over sized, high gauged, or solid stock frame alterations or bumpers.

Final note: IF THE CAR AS BUILT TO RACE DOES NOT FIT THE GUIDELINES OF THIS CLASS, IT WILL FIT STREET STOCK.

TRACK RESERVES ALL RIGHT TO CHANGE AND AMMEND THESE RULES AT ANY POINT TO ENSURE FAIRNESS IN COMPETITION.

No “non functioning” dual purpose parts or modification will be allowed.

 Bomber Rules 2020-2023 TCS

Open to drivers of any age who have never competed in an organized race event or class, and to drivers who have sat out two seasons or longer from a higher class.

Open to any American made sedan, four or two door full frame car 1969 or newer. With exception to sport models, (no Camaro, mustangs, GT Models, ETC. )

Car’s frame, suspension (springs and Shocks). Must remain stock as it came from the factory. Any alterations will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize money and points!

Stock or OEM replacement upper A frames, lower A Frames and spindles for the make and model of car being raced are required.

No tubular upper or lower frames permitted.

No spring rubbers, wedges or cups!
Shocks must be Stock and match the model car being used!

Stock coil springs only, no cutting of the springs, no look alike springs or pig tail racing springs permitted.

No locked rear ends! No shimming, no exceptions!
Must Run OEM or OEM replacement rear end housing, ring gear and pinion.

No ballast of any time is permitted!

Body must remain stock and full, only hulling to be allowed will be the front fenders and both front door. Hood, trunk and rear quarters must full.

Hood brackets and hinges may be removed, hood must be secured by four hood pins if the hinges are removed.

Aftermarket Plastic nose pieces permitted, must match make and manufacturer of car.

Stock radiator core support must stay in place!  Aftermarket aluminum radiator is allowed.

Full Roll cages permitted, four point cage minimum is required.
Hooking the halo to the rear frame rails is permitted, however the down tubes from the halo cannot hook into the spring buckets.

Fuel cells are allowed and encouraged. Please make sure you have a protection loop in place behind the cell  and connected to the downtubes running to the  halo for added protection.

Engines & Transmissions
Automatic transmissions ONLY!
No stall converters, no 2 speed power glides no after market racing automatic transmissions!
Stock with all gears working. No removing of gears or clutches in any automatic transmission.

No vortec heads, no hemispheric heads. No shaving, no angle milling of heads. No aluminum intakes!
No aftermarket racing valve springs
No 1.6 rockers or after market rocker arms designed for performance. All parts must be Stock, or stock replacement!

Maximum GM cubic inch will be 355 cubic inches, all specs will be based on based on 1982 350 cid engine found in a Chevrolet or GMC base model pick up truck.

Stock Quadrajet or Rochester 2 barrel carbs only.

Ford, Lincoln or Mercury
Maximum Cubic Inch Size will be 356, no performance heads, stock sized valves, no re working, shaving or angle milling of the heads will be permitted.
No aluminum intakes, regardless of what specs may say.
No 4412 Holley carbs will be allowed on ANY MODEL, including Fords
. Engine must remain stock!

Mopar- 360 maximum CID, engine must remain stock, no engine may run hemisphere style or performance heads. Must run stock steel intake. Stock carb.

All engines must run stock cast iron exhaust manifolds, mufflers are not required, no headers. Exhaust pipe extension bust be free and clear of any brake, or fuel lines. Minimum 24inch of extension from the manifold dump.

Throttle body model cars are permitted as long as they are full frame rear wheel drive cars(Ford Crown Vics, Chevy Caprices from the mid 90’s for example)

Throttle body cars may only use this system of fuel delivery, everyone else will be required to use a stock carburetor.

Must have a protection loop behind the fuel tank.

All engines are subject to tear down and confiscation!!!

Wheels and Tires
8 inch Racing wheels permitted, stock steel wheels permitted.

All cars must utilize 1” lug nuts.

15 inch Dot Tires only,  maximum width 65 series, maximum height 255. No cutting of the rear quarter panel wheel wells to accommodate tire size.

May remove plastic wheel well inserts in the front.

No bead locks.

Safety-

All cars must have a racing seat and feature a five point racing harness for the driver. Minimum 2 inch trap width.

All cars are required to have a window jet, no more than 5 years old from the date of manufacture.

All drivers must wear no less than one layer fire suit, racing helmet, gloves and a neck support roll or other neck restraint system.

Race Recievers are mandatory.

All cars must have tow chains mounted to the front and rear bumpers, mounted with grade 8 bolts and secure for track recovery vehicles.

Any part deemed modified or purposed for racing added onto these cars may be confiscated by TCS technical inspectors at anytime!

We reserve the right to bar a driver from competing in Bomber. If that driver in question is deemed to have too much racing experience in a higher class(LM, Mod, SS etc)

Stinger Rules 2020 

  1. ALL CARS MUST HAVE TOW CHAINS. On front and rear of car, easily accessible to track officials.
  2. All cars must have master electrical kill switch. Clearly marked and labeled with red handle and easily accessible by track officials.

Bodies & Frames

  1. Any make or model front wheel drive 4 or 6-cylinder only. NO EXCEPTIONS
  2. May run all-wheel-drive/4-wheel-drive cars if rear drive shaft is removed. NO EXCEPTIONS. Car must pull with front wheels only. This will be checked before the race begins.
  3. May be 2 or 4 door; hatch back, sedan, station wagon, etc.
  4. No turbo or supercharged cars allowed
  5. No NOS or other performance enhancing devices allowed.
  6. All glass must be removed. Including lights.
  7. All burnable upholstery must be removed, except driver’s seat may be utilized though it is highly recommended that a racing seat be installed.
  8. May replace stock dash with sheet metal dash
  9. All exterior chrome and molding or anything that can come off the car must be removed.
  10. Battery may be moved to a more secure location. If in driver compartment, then must be in marine type box. Plastic box only
  11. Remove the insulation under the hood.
  12. Must have 20″ number on each side and 20″ number on roof of car for scoring.
  13. External parts may be removed such as A/C compressor and dehydrator, PS pump, etc… Absolutely no performance parts may be added to the engine with the exception of spark plugs and air filters. Air filters MUST utilize STOCK air box.
  14. All ECM’s (computers), including chips, MUST be OEM Stock for year, make and model of car. Absolutely NO aftermarket performance chips or computer modifications!
  15. All cars MUST have stock bumpers front and back. Damaged body parts may be covered with sheet metal or plastic provided original body remains underneath repaired areas where possible.

Safety

  1. Must have serviceable fire extinguisher SECURELY mounted within reach of driver, no tape or zip ties.
  2. Must have window net on driver’s side with proper mounting hardware. Must be manufactured within 5 years of event
  3. All cars must have a minimum of a 4-point roll cage with a minimum of 3 driver side door bars
  4. Must use 5-point safety harness. 3” minimum width and must be manufactured within 3 years of event.
  5. May use a racing seat (highly recommended).
  6. Gas tank may be replaced with a fuel cell, but must remain “centered” in the trunk area, no offset to either side
  7. If gas tank is behind rear axle, then you must install a “U” shaped bar between rear bumper and tank.
  8. All cars should have a minimum of two bars in window in front of driver
  9. Recommend screening of window at least in front of driver
  10. All roll cage areas that the driver may contact during race conditions must be covered with padding.
  11. May install quick release steering wheel for safety considerations however steering column must remain stock.
  12. Driver neck brace mandatory
  13. Driver’s full fire suit MANDATORY! Suit, shoes, GLOVES all required!
  14. Must have protective bars in windshield area, forward of driver

Suspension

  1. All springs/struts must be stock height, size, and rate.
  2. OEM type passenger car shocks only. No air shocks. No racing shocks.
  3. Stock Bump Stops on suspension.
  4. All steering components must remain stock.
  5. All wheels must remain straight up and down with no adjustment in camber

Tires and Wheels

  1. Must be Factory Stock or steel OEM or equivalent wheels
  2. No mud tires, DOT street tread only.
  3. Tires do not have to match each other in size or brand.
  4. Wheel size must be factory (if car came with 13″ wheels, then you must run 13″ all the way around. 14″ must run 14″, and so on. Cannot run other than stock offset on wheels and cannot run wider than stock wheels.

Transmission & Driveline

  1. Automatic or manual
  2. Gears must be for year, make, and model of car used.
  3. Transmission must be for year, make, and model of car used.
  4. If car came from the factory with an automatic transmission, you must use an automatic transmission. If it came with a manual, then you must use a manual.
  5. Engine must be a 4-cylinder only for year, make, and model of car. Cannot interchange engines.
  6. If it came with a carb, then you must have a factory carb. No modifications allowed.
  7. If it came fuel injected, then must be fuel injected.
  8. Carb must be for year, make, and model.
  9. Cannot change any internal or external engine parts other than factory stock or factory replacement parts.
  10. Absolutely NO turbo or superchargers allowed!
  11. Car must meet satisfaction of chief technical inspector for integrity and safety each night before allowed on the racetrack.
